Mordon Blue - Parlour Made

This award winning blue veined soft cheese with a mild flavour and creamy texture. This young cheese will also develop a stronger flavour over time if preferred. Winner of a bronze medal in the 2012 British Cheese Awards and winner of 2 Gold Stars at the 2013 and 2018 Great Taste Awards.

“Made using traditional handmade methods; fresh warm milk is piped straight from our cows into the cheese vat at 6am every morning; we pasteurise the milk for all of our soft cheeses in the vat before the cheese making process begins.”

Once the curd has formed it is cut with special curd knives and stirred before being packed into moulds and turned regularly.

Then the cheese is stored for 4-5 weeks until matured. All of our blue cheeses are hand pierced to encourage the blue veins to develop.
